Things don't always go according to plan...⁠

And that's okay! Or I keep telling myself it is anyway, right?😅⁠

Friday, my daughter had tubes put in and her adenoids removed. My son had the same procedure done in August and, the whole thing went smoothly. My daughter, on the other hand, has had a bit more trouble recovering. She's on the up so, we're hoping for the best!⁠

That being said, it threw a couple of wrenches in my original schedule, but the older I get, the more I realize that's just how life goes. 9/10 the world doesn't end if things don't go according to plan. ⁠

I know most of you can probably relate, even if you don't have kids. Life has a funny way of wrinkling your perfectly laid out plan, right? ⁠

⁠

Ultimately, you can't give up. I still worked out this morning, made my bed, accomplished a few tasks, etc. That's what my morning routine usually looks like, I just had to move a few things around to accommodate my sweet little one. 😊⁠

This is a bit of a ramble but, the bottom line is: don't give up! Adapt, pivot, shift, whatever but keep going. ⁠
